OBFF Growth Day: Notes

Our team was at an Open Bible Faith Fellowship Growth Day today. Several of the highlights for me included:

1. George Woodward brought a very good word reminding us that ‘ministers’ means servants and at the core of our calling is to be servants – both to those in the church and our communities.
2. Paul Yuke spoke simply yet powerfully on the importance of meeting daily with Jesus. It can be so easy to get caught up in administration and the business of ministry but the most important thing is that we are ‘with him’.
3. Rick and Cathy Ciaramitaro shared on the importance of Spiritual Fathering in the church and the honor we need to have for our spiritual fathers.
4. Rick also shared out of 1 Kings 12:7 and how it was a foundational scripture for their church – he encouraged us to serve people, listen to them, and speak good words to them.
