
Your Voice Can Make a Difference
June 13, 2008Sometimes people wonder if speaking out regarding issues can really make a difference. Today I read about a clear example of how it can.
In February the Premier of Ontario proposed banning the Lord’s Prayer from being recited at the opening of each day. He claimed it was outdated and 58-0 to keep it and to simply add a rotation of prayers that reflected other faiths to go along with it.
How come? Because more than 20,000 Ontarians wrote letters or e-mails and nearly 90% made it clear they wanted the prayer to stay… so it stayed.

This is what I was talking about in the post,where you commented on how do you know you are preaching the word correctly if someone does not find what you are doing objectional.Something along those lines. I commented that we need more people to stand up for what they believe in.This shows that when people stand up for what they believe and what they know in their hearts is right,that is when the difference is made in the world.We should not be armchair christian.We need to get out there and make the difference that you were made to make.
