Interview: Bill Russel + Kevin Garnett
May 16, 2008I’m a big NBA fan (Raptors are out… getting over it) and I’m loving the playoffs this year! Talk about intensity..
My brother passed this clip on to me of an interview with Bill Russel and Kevin Garnett. If I could relate it to spiritual things for a second – there is such a powerful moment when Bill Russell, who KG obviously looks up to and highly respects, speaks words of life and encouragement into him (the music in the background helped a little 
).
It got me thinking – when was the last time I did this with the guys I serve? We each have the opportunity to speak life into people – especially those we lead and who look up to us.
I know I want to take this even more seriously in my life, leadership and as a young father.
WOW!, i could feel my inner-man saying i’m proud of you, you can do it!
I held back the tears.
I feel what your says PB. When you just tell some one “I love you, I’m proud of you”, you can see that person LIGHT-UP!!
So to you as our Pastor, we love you and your family, keep up the awesome work!, your making a differents.
